Clemson Academy aims to accommodate every student, regardless of their background or academic status. If you’re a student looking to transfer, we have multiple options for you which cater to your credits, certification or academic status.


Credit transfer, often referred to as transfer credit or credit recognition, is a process through which students can use previously earned academic credits from one institution or program to meet the requirements of another. This practice is particularly important for online academies and universities, where students might have diverse educational backgrounds and transfer between programs or institutions for various reasons.

Certification Credits to Degree Credits Transfer:

Credits earned at Clemson Academy through vast certification programs can be transferred to many reputable universities around the world. A student may have completed certification at a Clemson Academy may able to transfer those credits to an online academy or university.


Distance Credits to On Campus Credits Transfer:

For some students who are already enrolled with Clemson Academy on distance learning can also opt for on campus learning. Credits that have been obtained during distance learning can be transferred and you can continue your academics on the campus.


Part-time to Full-time Credit Transfer:

Part-time to full-time credit transfer is a valuable option for students who wish to combine the flexibility of part-time study with the advantages of full-time enrollment, such as quicker degree completion.


Transfer Process:

When a student decides to move forward with any of these transfers, they must contact their academic advisor or registrar's office to discuss the possibility of transferring their credits at all.

Clemson Academy will evaluate the courses and credits earned during their former academic years to determine which credits are eligible for transfer to the academic status they want to reach. Generally, courses that align with the curriculum and meet degree requirements will be accepted.

Similarly, Credits earned through certification programs at Clemson can be transferred to reputable universities, and will help students to fulfill the credits criteria for their required program.

The accepted credits are integrated into the student's academic record. They contribute to the fulfillment of degree requirements and may allow the student to move forward with their academic status, either as a full time student, as a transfer student, as an on campus student in Clemson.
